Product Information

Lucent WaveStar TM 1 & AM 1 –

The WaveStar. TM1 and WaveStar AM1 are extremely compact and cost-effective STM-1 multiplexers, which are especially designed for low-to medium fill STM-1 links from customers premises to access networks and provide up to sixteen 2 Mbit/s ports(up to thirty two 2 Mbit/s ports on the WaveStar. AM1).

The WaveStar TM1 can be equipped with one STM-1 optical line interface. This optical interface is a 1310 nm short-range optical interface compliant with ITU-T Recommendation G.957 S.1.1.

The WaveStar AM1 is equipped with two STM-1 optical line interfaces. These optical interfaces are 1310 nm short-range optical interface compliant with ITU-T Recommendation G.957 S.1.1. 1+1 MSP protection is also provided.

Lucent WaveStar ADM 4/1 –

The Wavestar ADM 4/1 is an intelligent multiplexer and transport system able to multiplex up to 126 x 2Mb/s tributaries to STM-4.

The ADM4/1 can be configured as a terminal, an Add/Drop Multiplexer or as part on optical ring.

Lucent WaveStar ADM16/1 –

The Wavestar ADM 16/1 is a high-capacity intelligent multiplexer and transport system able to multiplex PDH and SDH bit rates to higher levels up to 2.5 Gbit/s (STM-16).

One of the main features of the WaveStar. ADM 16/1 is the ability to add/drop and flexibly cross-connect 2 Mbit/s directly from the STM-16 level. Other signals that can be connected are: 34, 45, 140, 155 and 620 Mbit/s up to a Total add/drop capacity of 32 x STM-1 or 504 x 2 Mbit/s.
